As long as the electronic item needed to be connected to some other device, Bluetooth technology can solve that issue. You can have a Bluetooth headset and it can link to any other device which has a Bluetooth connection. For instance a Bluetooth device and a laptop can use the same headset.

Currently. there a lot of models to select from for a Bluetooth headset. You can have a mono-headset, which clips to one ear, or a stereo headset. In both instances of course, the microphone is built-in and comes installed with the device.
